The NAS server setup is nifty as-is, but how speedy is your internet? Downloading 4,000 hours is a real choke-point. At 1 GB/hour and 100 Mbps, that’s ~90 hours of non-stop downloading—doable, but cutting it byte. Prioritize the prime content first. Grab yt-dlp and a script to snag all your channel’s highlights (e.g., yt-dlp --download-archive archive.txt “ It’s a click-saver. Cloud storage for 4TB runs $40-$100/month, while external drives are a one-time data-deal at $200-$300. YouTube’s free, but it’ll stream your energy.

You can turn a $20 PC into a NAS, you just have to see if it is compatible with RAID technology and buy the hard drives, there are many tutorials on YouTube on how to do it.

Of course, I don’t want to be a judge or pass judgment here. The only thing I’m hearing from this is that you’ve also spent at least 4000 hours streaming online? Just take care of yourself, I mean that in a friendly way ✌️😉
