a 360 camera Gaussian Splat of my wife in a serene, foggy afternoon in Golden Gate Park Captured with an Insta360 X5, aligned and trained in PostShot, thanks to a tip Olli Huttunen. Supersplat link below 👇 This might be the first 360 splat I've made that I'm happy with. It's clear that the accuracy of the image alignment is paramount, and I haven't been getting great results from RealityScan aligning cropped frames from 360 stitches. Here, I aliged and trained the frames directly in PostShot. Alignment took a few hours but the accuracy is great.

Shot on Vision Pro - Apple sent me the new Vision Pro with the M5, and the moment of opening the package will always feel surreal. The unboxing itself was extremely fun — though I did feel a bit guilty about my old Vision Pro. I made her watch the whole thing… so now you can too now. If you have a Vision Pro, you can watch the spatial version in the comments.

This is insane!🔥 This is a 720p (2D) video I shot of my kids 15 years ago! I used AI to upscale it, depth-map it, & used the depth map to convert it to 3D SBS, & then converted that to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro (MV-HEVC). My son is currently a senior in high school, and my daughter is a sophomore in college. This video has complete spatial depth when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro. Obviously, you can't appreciate that via this post. But it's like I'm there & I can see into this room. Talk about giving you the feels.🥹 This can be done with ANY video. 🤯 I'm working on refining the workflow, as it's a bit cumbersome. I plan to share it, but holy cow! I had to post this.

This museum is inside a 35-meter-tall seated human figure and it took 4'25" to turn it into a #GaussianSplatting CORPUS is the world's first interactive museum dedicated entirely to the human body, offering an experience unlike any traditional museum. Instead of looking at exhibits from the outside, you embark on a journey through literally the human body itself. This is my submission for the #SplatYourWorld contest organized by Niantic Spatial 🌎 . It was captured using a 360-degree drone and processed on the cloud using Scaniverse .
