This might be the coolest thing I’ve ever done with a drone. I flew the Antigravity A1 over downtown Chattanooga, then uploaded the 360° footage to Niantic Spatial 🌎 Scaniverse. A few hours later, I was exploring a massive 3D Gaussian splat on Apple Vision Pro.

@Antigravity_HQ @NianticSpatial Very cool! What kind of framerates do you get with Scaniverse splats on AVP? It looked like it was stuttering quite a bit in the recording, but not sure if that's because of the recording. But very cool nonetheless!

@Antigravity_HQ @NianticSpatial It’s a pretty massive file and the recording definitely makes the frame rate drop. You can check it out for yourself here on AirVis. You can toggle the quality settings. I did find the quality was best on MetalSplatter but AirVis still does a good job.

Shot on Vision Pro - Apple sent me the new Vision Pro with the M5, and the moment of opening the package will always feel surreal. The unboxing itself was extremely fun — though I did feel a bit guilty about my old Vision Pro. I made her watch the whole thing… so now you can too now. This museum is inside a 35-meter-tall seated human figure and it took 4'25" to turn it into a #GaussianSplatting CORPUS is the world's first interactive museum dedicated entirely to the human body, offering an experience unlike any traditional museum. Instead of looking at exhibits from the outside, you embark on a journey through literally the human body itself. This is my submission for the #SplatYourWorld contest organized by Niantic Spatial 🌎 . It was captured using a 360-degree drone and processed on the cloud using Scaniverse .

This is insane!🔥 This is a 720p (2D) video I shot of my kids 15 years ago! I used AI to upscale it, depth-map it, & used the depth map to convert it to 3D SBS, & then converted that to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro (MV-HEVC). My son is currently a senior in high school, and my daughter is a sophomore in college. This video has complete spatial depth when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro. Obviously, you can't appreciate that via this post. But it's like I'm there & I can see into this room. Talk about giving you the feels.🥹 This can be done with ANY video. 🤯 I'm working on refining the workflow, as it's a bit cumbersome. I plan to share it, but holy cow! I had to post this.

A few environments, created locally on my PC in a few seconds each using that cool new Apple image to Gaussian splat tech, stitched together and lit in Octane Render 2026 and combined with a few models made using Hyper3D by Deemos Rodin. Next year is bound to be the year of Generative 3d.
