The real objective of the rule is that the teams doesn't start using a lb body kicker who doesn't need to make a great kick but will have a lot of momento against static players who can't move until the ball is touched
Let me save you from yourself…
Rule has nothing to do with the kicker it’s to keep teams using players like Justin Reid as their KOS and then getting an extra defender up for the kickoff return.

Man is angry because a well paid athlete did not follow a simple instruction. When you are in the wrong, complain about the rules.

About as pointless as lineman downfield penalties… 10/10 do not affect the play at all.
