It was a massive turning point in the game, sadly... I've watched it a dozen times in slow mo and I still can't figure out how that's a penalty/ no-goal.... crazy... #gosensgo

You can't smack an opponents stick out of their hands. Similar call was made in Habs game during CBJ PP. It's interference.

Except he doesn’t do that lol he’s in shooting motion not even paying attention to the back checking forward. Svech reaches in last sec with one hand and dropped his stick.

Look at the Pinto call also. The refs tonight wanna be on camera.

Hate the Sens, Sens fans, and Olympic German diver Stutzle. But I agree, terrible terrible call. He’s clearly just putting his stick down getting ready to shoot the puck from a pass.

I mean it’s slashing, but let’s all agree it’s a penalty
