Most crashes (~90%) happen when a plane is taking off or landing. That’s not enough time to deploy and the height is not enough to make this work

Again, this is not feasible because of the additional weight. The purpose of commercial airline is to carry as many passenger as possible.

Most plane crashes occur during takeoff and landing so i dont think this will be really effective unless the crash is happening midair

👤 if you weren’t in the entertainment industry, you said you’ve dreamt of being a movie translator. usually if you like movies, wouldn’t you think of wanting to be a director or an actor? a translator seemed to be such a unique response 🐻‍❄ of course i’ve thought of those too, but i just thought of it realistically [since] i can understand english well. when you watch movies in korea, they put on korean subtitles, right? i often notice mistranslations. in some parts, i’d be like “if it was me, i would’ve said it like this..”
