This might possibly the best version of Comfortably Numb.

Some guitar solos weren’t just played, they were burned into rock history, live and loud. A thread 🧵- for some of the greatest live solos of all times. Prince's take on While My Guitar Gently Weeps was one of a kind.

SRV's take on Look at Little Sister at Texas sounded so good that he even broke a string and changed his guitar!

Prince performing Purple Rain solo Live at Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

Sultans of Swing was different from the very first day but Alchemy version was something else.

The man who helped guitar to cry. Gary Moore and his Still Got The Blues!

Eric Clapton's performance on I Shot The Sheriff is a top class!

Brian May's Bohemian Rhapsody at Live Aid was truly legendary.

If you enjoyed, please give me a follow and spread the post! Keep on rocking!🎸

My preference will always be this one:

The generosity of playing the original solo must be saluted. It also give the player a challenge to make interesting every performance.

that was awesome, but i think pulse was better. still, it is amazing that he was still out there playing like this in his 70s. and there is talk of a new album and possibly another tour. he's my favorite guitarist.
