There's a reason Turkey emerged as a fierce secular nation out of the ruins of the Ottoman empire and that's because this mullah mindset is regressive, anti-development and can't be reformed without secularism. It also held back the Ottomans consistently.

Cope. This is the right mindset, you just can’t see it. Mosques are often built and maintained by communities, not governments. They constantly remind people of the hereafter, which incentivises genuine good: donating, helping others, and even contributing to hospitals. But building and maintaining core infrastructure is the government’s job. Whatever people voluntarily chip in remains pure charity. It’s not a coincidence that Muslims are the biggest donors on the globe.

I want to build mosques. It is government/organisations that are meant to serve the public with health and education Taking this responsibility away from them to wealthy individuals is shifting the blame Persons build mosques Governments and organisations build hospitals Simple

Institutions like hospitals are often endowed by wealthy individuals and religious institutions in America. This mindset is why we are a failed society.

We do that as well (the examples are countless, Muslim countries do great at charities and you know it), but when there's a perceived shortage then the wealthy should NOT be blamed

1 mosque per town is more than enough. In big cities up to 4 mosques max. Anything more than this is redundant. Muslims should focus on the size and appearance of mosques rather than the number of them. Quality over quantity.

Thank GOD this type of mindset is not prevalent in Pakistan. Some of the best hospitals in the country are run by charities. Shaukat Khanam founded by Imran khan comes to mind and the Edhi foundation too.

The point of Islam isn’t to have a long life. It’s to get into jannah. Explain how a hospital helps get you to jannah more efficiently than a masjid.

Sometimes I listen to A muslim & genuinely want to give them a hug because I see how their heart is in the right place but their foundation is rooted in such dark, tainted, or misguided teachings. If they can unlearn hate&false righteousness, they'd do untold good on earth.

I dunno what you are trying to say here. But do try to aim your critique at the leadership of Muslims than ordinary Muslims, that's the fountain head of most problems as even the illiterate mullah class is supported by the govs to perpetuate illiteracy.

That would be true if everyone had this mindset, which looking at the percentage of practising Muslims it's probably not all that. It's just that the people who do fork out money for God have that mindset. The huge rest of the population don't fund much, which is the real issue.

Your common+typical Muslim who supports this worldview wants to go to heaven ASAP. They feel it's a shortcut to heaven. Rather than investing, uplifting & helping their fellow people with institutions & healthcare even with people dying/diseased in front of them. Who cares?

iam pretty sure Allah is instead very angry with these ummah which is why he is punishing it for this mentality just behaving in a backward way not thinking that building infrastructure like hospitals and schools and making them free for the face of Allah is actually a sadaqa

It’s because modern Wahabi Muslim narratives are Zionist bought. Hence only mosques are built so people focus purely on the hereafter, and leave the world and everything in it for the Zionists to rule.

Our problems won’t be solved by building more hospitals and schools. We already have tons. The problem is what happens inside of them. A lot like our masajid, the quality of the ones teaching at the schools or treating patients at the hospitals is the issue

He has the right mentality. There is enough wealth, but corruption siphens most of it. Fix the soul, and you fix the problem.
