How does it generate dark worlds? Are they actually like tied to what items or blocks you have in the room?

When you open a dark fountain you have a menu that lets you select specific options based on biomes/blocks you have discovered and it will also take in some elements from your current biome

i've been trying to think of any other way you could do it but i'm struggling. maybe you like. take certain blocks and convert them into buildings/areas if there's multiple of them, and base the primary "dirt" of the location on whatever the floor of the room is?

Determining which blocks become environmental and which become enemies and which becomes specific buildings seems difficult. maybe if it detects abunch of redstone blocks it becomes a certain DW biome or it detects abunch of stone blocks it becomes a certain DW biome

it automatically hue shifts ur skin cuz all dark worlds have a weird lighting thing in most cases but u can add a custom dark world skin too

@sp_octo Are you using the beta version? The dark world transition doesn't happen to me, or I don't even see the option of adding a custom dark world skin

@sp_octo you need to click on the head of your character in the party menu and it will prompt you to select a skin

@SomeWeab Issue is with this is that devs can just completely lie about it containing AI code to not retrieve backlash if they're smart enough about the way they do it. Also makes it insanely difficult if they don't release source either.

@SomeWeab i agree but until you have reasonable suspicion to think something is coded with ai, i dont think its fair to default as "ai until proven otherwise" this mod has been in development for a while now and you can see past versions to see how it evolved, its def not slop

SOULBOUND!! I tried 2.0 out on launch and its really cool. Though I think it needs a lotta work cause current game feels kinda aimless but its such a good baseline
