A mom is speaking out after a boy tried to strangle her 5-year-old daughter in kindergarten. She wanted answers and pushed for a meeting with the school and the other parents to understand what happened. The school initially gave the boy a 3-day suspension and wouldn’t set up the meeting she asked for. That same night at her son’s t-ball practice, the other family glared and pointed at them. The boy’s 10-year-old sister even came over and asked the 5-year-old what it was like to be strangled. The mom kept pushing. After meeting with the principal, the boy was expelled for the rest of the year and removed from the t-ball team. Her daughter is physically okay but pretty shaken up emotionally. She’s only five and had never even heard of something like this. When something this serious happens with little kids, a short suspension isn’t enough. Parents often have to fight hard for real accountability and safety. Would you have kept pushing like this mom did? I sure would have.

This mother was upset with her kid for leaving his clothes out on the stairs. She said she asked him to take his dirty clothes and put it in the washer machine and to do a load of laundry. She said he got mad and said no and started blaming her. She told him that he needs to come talk to her when he’s calm and not upset and they will discuss it. She said she is leaving his clothes right where they are. Me, personally, uhm- I would handle that in a completely different manner. What about you? Is this how you would handle your children leaving clothes out like that? Would you handle them the way she did if they back-talked you, got mad at you, was upset and blamed you?

This Lyft driver was watching a show on her phone with earbuds in her ears while driving this mother and daughter. When the mother asked her if she was watching a show the driver told her she was just listening to it. When she informed her that it is against the law to drive with earbuds (it is the driver turned it around on her and started yelling at her saying that when passengers listen to or watch videos it is distracting and dangerous to the driver. Our grandmother here bought gifts for her 3 year old granddaughter. This is her daughter in law making a video of her destroying the gifts because she wanted cash only ! Makes me think the daughter in law wanted the cash for herself . If you were this grandmother how would you handle the situation? I think that should start a bank account for the child and give it to her when she gets older . I also think she should show this video to the granddaughter at some point in the future .

However minutes before she was supposed to go on stage, she was escorted back by a police officer because the school staff won’t let her wear her Lei. The family is from Hawaii and they feel it’s a part of to wit culture and don’t see why a ring of flowers could be offensive. If other people are allowed to wear things that represent their own culture or religion, shouldn’t this be allowed as well? She claimed she didn’t have any money. They threatened to call the police on her. The woman claimed she would come back tomorrow, she said that her dad is a police officer with the sheriffs department and the people at the station said it would be okay. It’s been three days now and she still hasn’t come back to pay. I don’t think anyone at the police station would tell her it was okay to leave without paying, would you be comfortable enough allowing a customer to leave without paying, basically giving you an IOU?
