This moment in St. Louis yesterday is precisely what the ABS challenge system was meant for — a strikeout on what was clearly a ball, overturned, and then the game-winning home run.

This umpire initially called the runner coming home out. The catcher drops the ball and then the umpire rules him safe because of the dropped ball. Then the catcher after a couple of seconds goes and tags the runner and the umpire calls him out. I don’t know what game the umpire is watching but it clearly isn’t this one. And I don’t know where he received his training. After the catcher dropped the ball, if he thought the runner didn’t touch home he should have made no call. But clearly he does. What do you think? Was he safe or out?

In 1917, many Black southerners relocated to East St. Louis for a new life but it didn't pan out that way. What they found was a hostile environment with racial tension at its apex. This story is about hope and fighting for survival. This is the East St. Louis Massacre.

"They didn't see the ball leave the ballpark and there was no fan interference. It was tough to tell from the big screen there and that's what they got in the replay room." Carlos Mendoza shares the explanation he got from the umpires on Juan Soto's overturned home run:

Ketel Marte flipped an 0-2 count to a 3-2, then golfed a breaking ball down out of the zone for a game-tying home run. This is what he does when he’s at his best. Great to see:

This was a bad pass by Caitlin Clark at the end of the game, but A’ja Wilson clearly pushed Clark when going for the loose ball… Should’ve been a foul, even in this moment. Clark has the worst whistle in the league.

In London yesterday: One man was caught decapitating a pigeon and chewing its head. Another was filmed picking up a rat and taking it home - presumably for dinner. These are just the incidents that happened to be filmed. Imagine what isn’t being captured on camera. This is what London has become.

MAX MUNCY 2-RUN HOME RUN OH MY GOD 🚨 This is his 3rd go-ahead home run of this Dodgers road trip and it went 415 feet. What a game, what a series, what a SEASON for Muncy. LA takes a 5-3 lead.

What is this behaviour from the #CentralForces? A man was captured by force from his house in Yaiskul Sougaijam Leirak and beaten up in public and then was taken away. This is what is needed to be done in the Hills on the #KukiMilitants, not on #Meitei Civilians! #Manipur

St. Louis City's clever off-ball movement continues to impress. Here's a lovely third-man run from Marcel Hartel that helps open the scoring for St. Louis in their 3-0 win over Austin FC. Few teams in MLS are more coordinated off the ball than St. Louis under new leadership.

This Abu Sama run on third down was the most underrated play of the game: -Kansas had just scored their second-straight touchdown -Carson Hansen was out of the game at the time -Kept a drive alive than ended in a touchdown What a physical run by Sama.

How about a @MHUBaseball team that beat #5 Young Harris for the second time in a midweek, this time on the road? The Lions are 5-2 on midweek games this season. A 3-run home run for Zach Weaver in the first and a 3-run home run for Chad Sikes in the second was all Mars Hill needed. #D2Baseball
