This young lady claims she works 40 hours a week and doesn’t make enough to support herself. She wants people to stop talking about how Gen Z doesn’t want to work. She claims us other generations have worked longer and thus can afford to live on our own. But that’s the point isn’t it. She claims she doesn’t want to work for the rest of her life yet says we have an advantage because we have worked longer than them. I always told my kids that nobody rarely ever starts at the top. We start at the bottom, work hard and work our ways up. I didn’t rely on anybody but myself, did I get help along the way? Sure I did, I was lucky to have gotten some help but I didn’t ask for it and I didn’t expect it. My motto is as long as my two hands and feet still work, I will survive somehow. Did I want to go to school for almost a decade? No I didn’t. Did I want to be a part of the workforce for so long, of course not, nobody does. But that’s the difference. I did it because I knew I had to do what I had to do to have an easier life later on. Self accountability goes a long way, I’ve always believed that if I am not where I want to be, the only person I can blame is myself. So no I’m not criticizing the younger generation for struggling. I am criticizing them for the fact they are complaining about it because they expected it to be easy. Going to school, and getting a job doesn’t mean I am automatically financially independent by default, it takes years to reach that point naturally. It’s a hard ride but we will all get there.

Falcons rant: I would like to know who Cam, Jemele, etc. are speaking to when fielding opinions on the Falcons. It’s clearly no one who has watched this team play football for the last 5-6 years. It’s definitely no one who actually watches this team when they have a losing record. It honestly feels like they saw the comment section of DC’s video and they’ve just ran with it. The next time someone says that we need a new culture for this team, I’m immediately switching my brain off. Raheem was legitimately a culture hire. He was a players coach. He took a talented roster, and somehow did less with more. This city needs a winning culture. If you want to change the losing perception that surrounds this franchise, then start winning games. That’s how you can create a new life in the building. I want this team to succeed. I want to see this group of people win. I do not want to see major media talking heads speaking for this city when they don’t have a grasp on the things they’re claiming true. It really sucks that negative rhetoric is the only kind of media this city can get. Talking heads claim they know what this city wants/needs, but all they’re doing is attempting to divide the fan base and team even more. It really sucks that negative rhetoric is the only kind of media this city can get. Talking heads claim they know what this city wants/needs, but all they’re doing is attempting to divide the fan base and team even more. I know I’m just complaining to the wind, but I really hope this stops soon. Go Falcons
