The Speaker is required to lay our recommendations before Parliament. Once that has been confirmed, we will publish our final recommendations on our website

Very disappointed to see that your revised plans still cut my community in two and will make it much harder for our Balsall Heath Neighbourhood Council to engage & deliver good services locally when the area is split between 2 different constituencies

I've just spoken in the House of Commons about the mistreatment of those affected by the ban on LGBT personnel serving in the Armed Forces. The Government has completed 32 of the 49 recommendations in the Etherton Review and work continues at pace to fulfil the recommendations that remain, including financial redress, with a launch in January next year. #houseofcommons #LGBTServicePersonnel #ArmedForces #EthertonReview #LGBT

This can only herald bad news for our nation’s defence. Sir Lindsay Hoyle has long been a powerful advocate for the Armed Forces from the first day he entered Parliament. He said he would be "appalled" to see the plan announced without a statement to the Commons first and makes a direct appeal to No10: "That would be an utter disgrace and an utter kick in the face to members of this House.” It would also be the highest breach of standing orders and an act of cowardice.
