So after the 29th June heavy rainfall, the president and authorities couldn't do anything abt this flooding issues..rather than attending a thanksgiving service and organizing a 2-days- clean up exercise? 🤭😆😂 We are back to square-1- again Herhh wanna suffering isn't ending

Good job, thank you. Ghana remains one of the filthiest countries in 🌍. It would take all of us doing our part to reverse GH's situation. The assemblies/municipalities are neck-deep in criminal activities (corruption) and a comple failure.

Really Sad; thanks for showing this. The major cause of this situation is bits of floods running down from the near upstream settlement and all converging on the highway. To be sincere it would take an serious Catchment Management plan to resolve this.

When the rains come, the unpaved roads connecting to our newly paved roads become channels for sand and silt, washing directly into the drains along the main roads. The result? Drains become clogged, water finds its way onto the roads, flooding increases, and eventually the very roads we have invested so much in begin to suffer. It is a simple but important lesson: a paved main road cannot truly be protected if the roads feeding into it remain unpaved. Hon. Minister, perhaps the conversation should therefore move beyond paving the main corridors to completing the connecting roads as part of one integrated road network. Paving these connecting roads will not only improve mobility for residents; it will also reduce erosion and siltation, protect our drainage systems, minimize flooding, and significantly extend the lifespan of our paved roads.
