He skips on 1 foot when he first starts the spin. Not sure about the ruling on if you can do that or not but outside of that, from the gather he does the skip, thats 1 step, and then 2 more, which is gather plus 3. Changing hands is irrelevant once he discontinues the dribble.

Legal in NBA/FIBA with the gather step. Travel in NFHS/NCAA. The dribble would end when the palm is underneath the ball, or when the ball touches the 2nd hand after being flipped up by the first hand. Flipping the ball in the air is no different than picking it straight up.

Imagine being an ex pro and basing your game off YouTube basketball travels. That’s why he never was a consistent league player. No respect for the game.

It’s a trash move that only works when you’re 6’9 playing short people.

Once he picked up his dribble with one foot lifted he established his pivot foot and then lifted it so it's travel. If he hopped or jumped stop while stopping his dribble then he can take 1 more step because the pivot foot isn't established yet.

its not super crazy the steps where legal the part thats confusing is that he tosss the ball up to get it to his other hand which might count as a self pass which you cant do
