I been fixing for a movie like Inglourious Basterds for such a long time. 🧐

I’ve genuinely never understood shots like this…does anyone really think “group of every female character in the movie slowly walks forward as they join the fight “ looks badass or cool? It just takes away from the movie imo.

Inglourious Basterds was a meta-narrative about how filmmakers and audience-members “get off” on seeing movie Nazis get slaughtered. And they keep doing it so Redditor millennials can feel good about themselves cheering over muh bad guys getting killed.
