To those who are still searching, this movie is Little Man (2006). The movie is about a childless couple, Darryl and Vanessa, who adopt a small fugitive who poses as an abandoned toddler. The fugitive, Calvin Sims (Marlon Wayans), is a small jewel thief who has hidden a diamond in Vanessa's purse. Calvin tries to get the diamond back before his cover is blown while enduring the couple's attempts at fatherhood. Little Man is a 2006 American comedy film directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans.
