this movie is emotional, and the best part is that some of it is based on true events 🎬 a league of their own (1992)

i don’t like these kinds of shows, not because they’re bad but because it reflects a real reality for some kids. it’s a common issue in foster care and adoption, and knowing this scene is based on true events makes it even more devastating

This is a true event that happened in Kano, the k!llings of Igbos in the North in 1966 at Kano airport. It was one of the key events that prompted the Biafra War of 1967. The scene is from half of a yellow sun movie. Based on true events.

One of the hardest decision imaginable. Knowing it’s based on a true story makes it even very sad.Moments like this are exactly why so many soldiers carry trauma long after they retire.

My favorite scene from that movie. But did you know it was based on a true event?

Ain’t no way did this happen. The anonymous author ‘Foy’ - said it’s based on a true story - so it must be true.

This is the most accurate representation of a tsunami ever put on film, and knowing it’s based on a real event makes it even more heartbreaking. 💔

She was kidnapped and kept hidden for eight years, and nobody even knows why he kept her there for that long. The fact that this movie is based on a true story makes the whole thing even more disturbing. Knowing that something this horrifying actually happened to someone makes it so much harder to watch. 🎥

Fun Fact: The movie was based on a true story. It tells the remarkable rise of Seabiscuit during the Great Depression, when millions of Americans 🇺🇸 saw him as a symbol of hope.

The interviewer didn’t even ask about the movie... but watch what slipped out of her mouth. She was only 11 and nobody stopped this. Did you catch it?
