I heard someone say how the order of this movie should be changed… This story should’ve been told from her perspective at the beginning as she wakes up. Then it becomes a thriller/horror almost when it’s finally revealed he woke her up. But then see his perspective & like him.

For those wondering, this is a scene with a character called Morpheus from the 1999 movie ‘The Matrix’.

It was Stockholm Syndrome. A terrible premise for a film. The lead guy is the super creep who took advantage of a beautiful women. The only thinking missing was this creep beating off to her sleeping in her pod.

Like three actors and it was sooo good. The story, human sins, what it means to forgive, and how everything happened for a reason for the survival of everyone else on the ship. the ending😭

Just even that short clip dives me insane with the poor engineering and design. If you are colonizing a world you better dam well have the ability to fix your own ship, that by the way should have been able to fix itself on a trip like that.

It's actually not. The entire thing is predicated on the idea that with the kind of technology to travel through the cosmos, Earth's greatest minds forgot to add fail-safe protocols.

People hate this movie because they are dead inside and just want to watch horror flicks without using any brain power.

Lowkey peak what? If the ship has automated restaurants, navigation, bar service, medical and even learning group education… what do you need 256 crew for?

Passengers had the perfect opportunity to make this into a horror suspense psychological thriller that could’ve been epic . . . but regretfully they didn’t and the scene order should be we find out when she does, but regretfully they gave us a very forgettable kinda ending/film.

See I would’ve woke EVERYONE up and lived out life on the ship and the next generation would’ve made it to Homestead 2.

I loved this movie, the Mrs. loved this movie. It was a great sci-fi story but plausible and very relatable elements about what it means to be human.

Under appreciated movie. And there is a delated scene that makes it even better imo. It's when things hit rock bottom and turns around (she contacts him drunk) - I don't know why they chopped it out.

I wanted a ret-conned version where she finds out she's actually the 10th passenger that he has woken up. He just kills them when he gets bored with them and wakes up another one...

As an alternative ending I could imagine Jim and Aurora spending the evening together, but Jim drugs Aurora with a sleeping pill to make her sleep and puts her in the Pod. And the closing narration is a letter written by Jim to Aurora that she reads at the destination Homestead 2
