I recognize it’s rad y’all, but it’s never going to be “first by time playing FF7 in the 90’s” rad. I played FF6 last year (playing FF in chronological order), and I always try to play older games through a retro & modern lens. FMV in Final Fantasy must have been mind blowing.

Oh and if anyone was wondering how the motorcycle chase minigame went.. IDK LOL IT WAS ROUGH. I GUESS it could have been worse.. 💀 I didnt really have a strategy. 😂

I just came off of FFVI last year. The leap was pretty massive.

You really just had to be there. Some games were still word of mouth then but still moving towards learning more about them on the internet. 1997 was such a big year in gaming. Gran Turismo, FF7, Goldeneye, Diablo, and Star Fox 64 were showing off where the future was headed.
