This #NationalPizzaDay we are raising a slice to bumblebees — without them, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the tomato base of a pizza🍕 Bumblebees are the sole insect pollinators of tomato plants in the UK 🍅 🧵1/2

These Tree bumblebees are fanning their nest to keep it cool 🌡️ Most UK bumblebees nest on or underground. Tree bumblebees, however, prefer to nest high above the ground – bird boxes containing old bird nests are a firm favourite 🐦 Have you spotted a Tree bumblebee nest?

I think a big mistake is believing that if something is here, we should be able to see it. Right? The lights in the sky and the pilots or the gods or whatever they are? I think we assume out of arrogance and ego. An insect can crawl across your hand and never understand that you are a whole entire being. It only experiences pressure, heat, vibration, and movement. A fingertip appears. A shadow passes. The insect never sees the body attached to it. The insect does not have access to the full image. Ever. I think our situation may be exactly the same. Whatever people call the phenomenon, nonhuman intelligence, gods, or something else entirely, may be present in full while we only register a portion of it. We notice effects, not the actual being. Changes in perception. Anomalies. We expect a face when all we are capable of sensing is the fingertip. Let me explain. Reports are always partial and strange. Lights, shapes, impressions, symbols, missing time, pressure, fear, calm. None of it ever shows us a full being, or the real craft; because our senses are not built to assemble it. Just like the ant cannot assemble a human from a few sensations. Now that doesn't mean what we are seeing is fake. It means the insect’s world is smaller than the thing interacting with it. I get sick of people saying there is no there there, I think they are making the same mistake the insect would make. Our reality is likely a thin slice of what actually exists. We move through a world full of forces and intelligences that exceed our resolution. We are not seeing nothing. We are seeing effects. And effects are often the only honest proof a limited observer ever gets.

Greg Penner on things he wants for the next Broncos Stadium: "1.) we want to be able to enjoy the outdoor Colorado weather, 2.) we want to be able to grow grass, and then 3.) is we're thinking about a retractable roof, we want the skydivers to be able to land." 🔥

We are not a web3 company doing a game. We are gaming studio in love with web3 and the blockchain technology bringing the best actors of both worlds to work together to create a series of absolute gaming hits. We have people from Epic games, Activision, Pixar and Disney currently working on this and are now raising 10 millions to bring it to the next level. We don't just want The Mories to be one of the next big IPs. We want to become the next Ubisoft and have The Mories be the main IP of it. You can fade. Or not. It doesn't matter. We will make it.

The simple act of cycling to school in a neighbourhood without through-traffic. Show me a child who doesn’t want this and I’ll show you a million who do. We need streets that are safe for children to cycle on all over the world. Who are we to deprive them of this basic right?

Trump: Hopefully, we will be able to end the war without thinking about Tomahawks. We are fairly close to that.

All of us watching Aurora Colorado surrender US soil to Venezuelan gangs without a fight. We are so disappointed in Aurora. The police need to be replaced, they are afraid of the gangs. 🔊

A fan told 50 Cent he couldn’t afford anything because all his money was in Western Holdings. 😭 50 replied, “Don’t worry, we made it, we rich,” took one slice of the pizza and gave him the rest. 🍕😂
