This new stadium is going to kill the Mile High Magic. Tailgating looks scarce, PSLs, a retractable roof which takes away games in fun weather conditions. I’m sure it’ll be beautiful, I’m sure having everyone use public transportation is better for the environment, but I’ll miss the magic. #BroncosCountry

It’s going to happen regardless. I remember fans in the ’70s and ’80s saying the current Mile High Stadium lacked the character of the original. Every new stadium improves the experience, but it also leaves behind some of the charm that made the previous stadium special.

I don’t completely disagree. However, a lot of people said the same thing when they built the current stadium. 🤷🏾‍♂️

If by tailgating you mean roll your 5th Wheel to the stadium parking lot, you’re right. However, I’d bet those park spaces in the plan will quickly become places where people gather and “tailgate”, just without the 5th wheel. Won’t be the same for sure though.

Have you ever been to our tailgates? Why would I want to go pay for drinks and food when I could bring my own? Lol

The bars and restaurants can be used year round, any time of day, the parking lot is used for 8 home games a year and just takes up space otherwise. Also, if you think getting drunk in a parking lot is more fun than bar hopping, idk what to tell you.

You’ve clearly never been tailgating. We get there at 8 AM every game day. It’s an experience of its own. If you want to be stuck in a bar instead of partying with thousands of other fans, spending four times as much on booze and food, I don’t know what to tell you.

It'll be a cold atmosphere full of corporate fans and void of the old Mile-Hi magic. Cheerish these last few years because it will vanish like a NY Giants lead with just over five minutes remaining.

I hope they open up that roof when it’s advantageous. Closed roof against Miami dolphins in December would make no sense for example.

Like my kid says, “It’s not the 1900’s anymore” - I miss reading the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News. Our kids will have self driving cars, Denver will host a Super Bowl and talk about magical. The Broncos will win their next Super Bowl in their home stadium.

If you look at the restrictions that happened in Buffalo regarding tailgating and PSL pricing, it's the new standard. Of course they're going to tie COCO into this. It's the only time people wil use that train.

I held season tickets for 20 years in the old stadium and the current stadium. The current stadium doesn’t have nearly the magic as the old Denver Bears/Mile High Stadium had.

I'm a Bronco fan thru and thru. Arrowhead has been the best fan experience of my life. I showed up with a rental car, a Tebow shirt and a 6 pack. I left with two beef ribs, and brisket sandwich and a margarita. This stadium for the Broncos is nuts on a ham sandwich.

Cities with stadiums still have tailgating, bars/restaurants will have immersive outdoor parties, and there will still be abundant parking mixed in. You're going to love it and forget all about standing around your car in a sea of asphalt. Denver is doing it right.
