Bitcoin dropped to $93k yesterday and also printed a second TBO Breakdown, which is a bearish explosive prediction symbol from the Trending Breakout indicator. It's interesting to see BTC bounce from this level, but the signs are clear on multiple time frames that BTC is looking more and more bearish. ETH also confirmed its first TBO Breakdown yesterday on its daily close. Not to mention it printed a TBO Close Long on the weekly candle too. Now speaking of TBO Close Longs on the weekly, one possible outcome for these signals is that we get an oversold bounce for both BTC and ETH up to the weekly TBO Fast lines. If this happens, the market will feel ECSTATIC for a short period, but given how strong bearish the charts are, there is a strong chance that it will only be a temporary bounce before we see more pain to the downside. To make matters worse, combined stablecoin dominance printed its third TBO Breakout on the daily- the final symbol we'll see for the Breakout cluster. To make matters worse here, weekly RSI is above 75, which means we're more likely to see bullish continuation for this chart- which means more pain for ALTs (bot not all of them). STRK, XMR, ASTER and MORPHO have valid TBO Breakouts on their 4h and daily charts, which means we could see these chart have more explosive upside continuation. LTC, PI and BANANAS31 have new TBO Close Shorts on the daily time frame, which are early bullish reversal signals. Yes, I'm still expecting LTC to pump. The market isn't over until LTC (the fat lady) sings/pumps. ZEC, DASH, NIBI and RESOLV remain strong bullish with the TBO, making these good candidates for further upside continuation. SOL printed a third and final TBO Breakdown on its daily chart over the weekend, and ADA printed a TBO Breakdown Cluster on its 4h chart. These signals warn us of potential explosive downside continuation. TEL, XPL and MYX are worth watching this week due to irregular Volume and price action.

Paranoid man mocked for hunting a spy device in his home. No one believed the government could plant bugs in people’s apartments. A month later, his device found a bug in every mocker’s house. He started selling it and made $255k as everyone rushed to check their own homes. Here's how he made this technology using only Claude: The device is called an RF bug detector. Hidden cameras, microphones, and GPS trackers all leak radio signals when they transmit. This scanner picks up those signals and shows you exactly where they are coming from. The whole build costs around $25 in parts and runs on a small rechargeable battery. You need 4 things. - ESP32 development board - AD8317 RF detector module (the part that senses the signal) - A small OLED screen - A LiPo battery and charging board 1. Wire the AD8317 module to the ESP32 analog input, then connect the OLED screen to the I2C pins, which takes about ten minutes on a breadboard. 2. Plug the ESP32 into your computer with a USB cable. 3. Open Claude Code and paste this prompt: { Write me ESP32 firmware for an RF bug detector. Hardware: - AD8317 logarithmic RF detector on analog pin 34 - SSD1306 OLED screen on I2C pins 21 and 22 - LiPo battery powered Requirements: 1. Read the AD8317 voltage 20 times per second. 2. Convert the voltage into a signal strength value in dBm. 3. Show a live bar graph on the OLED that rises as signal gets stronger. 4. Play a beep through a buzzer on pin 25 that speeds up as the signal increases, so I can sweep a room and home in on the source. 5. Add a calibration button on pin 4 that sets the current room level as the baseline, so only stronger signals trigger alerts. The beep speeds up as he gets closer, so he can pinpoint a bug hidden inside a smoke detector, a plug, or a lamp. His parts cost around $25 per unit. He sells the finished detector for $129 to renters, travelers, and Airbnb guests who want to check their space. The market is everyone who ever walked into a hotel room and wondered if someone was watching.

💾 Okay I finally bought a Raspberry Pi 5 to make into a real retro computer as a proof of concept I love the Raspberry Pi much more than my ESP32 simply because I can SSH into it and it's just like a normal computer or server, the ESP32 required specific software to re-flash it everytime and it was TEDIOUS!!!! I need a fast feedback loop to develop with so all this flashing is too slow for me The Raspberry Pi 5 instead just runs Linux which then runs DOSBox-X to run Windows 3.11 install live downloaded from there so it stays fresh I then also got a Checkmate 19" IPS Retro Monitor by Stephen Jones (very indie and Kickstarter-style product) which is like a vintage retro PC monitor but with an OLED and it runs at 1280x1024, and the Raspberry Pi 5 has HDMI out so it works perfectly with it Then I got an 8BitDo retro IBM keyboard, but the spacebar broke, so I gotta send it back and get a new one, but it was great while it worked, so it's not in this video, and I got the 8BitDo retro mouse So altogether it's a proof of concept of a real vintage retro PC with internet and it works now My end goal is to make this into production and SELL it, not for money but more for fun because I think it should exist, just like Palmer Luckey's ModRetro Chromatic Gameboy-remake I'd go with something smaller than this 19" checkmate display though, it's great but too big for the Windows 3.11 era I think, more like 14" with a matching sized retro IBM-style keyboard and Windows 3.11 preinstalled (if legally allowed by Satya Nadella) with WiFi working out of the box We could also go with Windows 98/XP, because for me too Windows 3.11 was a very short time, so I too have vague memories of it, most of my computing memories is Windows 98/XP etc. Inside it could simply run on a Raspberry Pi 5 like here, which is easily powerful enough to run all of these OS'es I see many SF founders with Apple II's in their living room, and I guess cause Apple was more popular there back then, but in the rest of the world we were mostly IBM PCs and clones that ran Windows, so it's cool to have that as one retro object working with internet in your living room Anyway, step by step, we're here now 😊

tl;dr - don't buy anything from Asus. they have the most awful customer service I've EVER experienced in my life. I have 2 screens which are the same model (VG279QM), which suffered from the same issue after barely 2 years of owning the screens: the screens had a severe brightness reduction (more than 50%~). I tried everything I possibly could to fix it myself. I then opened an RMA to Asus on 7th of Dec. 2025 for both screens, warranty still valid. A month(!) later (4th of Jan. 2026) I get a technician coming to my house to fix only 1 monitor of the 2. He replaces the monitor's back panel card + the monitor panel itself, the issue remains. I tell him 'the power brick wasn't replaced, can't that cause this?' and he goes 'there's no way that's the source of the problem', followed by saying that it looks like the screen is fine. It's obviously not fine and I told him that, he consulted with a manager which said it's fine and resolved (lol). I had to go back and forth with them and I didn't let go. The technician came back the next day (5th of Jan) to 'fix' the 2nd monitor (he didn't actually do anything to it). He took videos of the screen when it's on, and had one of his managers literally SHOUT at me shamelessly (she was the karen I talked about on my previous post here btw) because I asked him to take off his shoes before entering my room (I have a carpet). He then involved another mangager that saw the issue and said 'I've never seen anything like this' and then told the technician to 'bring them to the lab'. I get only 1 monitor back 3 days later (8th of Jan.) and guess what was the solution? the power brick. Now I'm waiting for the 2nd to come by, surely it will return functional...SURELY. Bottom line, Asus has an ABYSMAL customer service & an abysmal technical knowledge in the products they support. Here's a clip of me even talking about this from my stream BEFORE the screens were picked up from my place (stream 4th of Jan. - screens picked up 5th of Jan.) & pictures showing the issue they were referring to. Never buying Asus products again, and you shouldn't either with how they treat their customers. I just wanted you guys to be aware of this🩷

I should probably say, if some of you have never seen a CD before, you can ask your parents afterward. At some point in my first year, I found myself at a supplier facility. I was far away from home, it was well past midnight. I was using a magnifying glass to count the number of grooves on the head of this screw, which, remember, lives on the back of the display. And I was arguing with the supplier because these parts had 35 grooves, they were supposed to have 25. I distinctly remember stepping back for a minute and thinking to myself, “What the hell am I doing? Is this normal?” And I thought about it, and I realized it might not be normal, but it’s right. It’s right because I’d already spent months working on that product, and if you’re going to spend that much time on something, you should put in your very best effort. Wuthering Waves PS5 Performance Test • Test Setup PS5 Slim (brand new, clean, no dust) Room temperature: 22°C with AC • Map Issue Yes, it's real. The new map is locked to around 2 FPS when opened from the menu, making it extremely laggy. • Stuttering Problems The game has severe stuttering. In some areas, it even freezes for 4–5 seconds, making the experience frustrating. • My Observation From my testing, the game appears to be running at a very high internal resolution on PS5 instead of relying on aggressive upscaling. For example, DLSS Quality at 1440p renders the game internally at approximately 1707×960 before upscaling it to 2560×1440. On PS5, however, it looks like the game is rendering at or near 2560×1440 internally and then upscaling to 4K. If that's true, it's an extremely demanding target for a base PS5. • Is This Fixable? Yes. If the game is indeed using such a high internal resolution, lowering it and using better reconstruction or dynamic resolution scaling could significantly improve performance. Running at such a high internal resolution on a base PS5 doesn't make much sense, and the game has suffered from performance issues for nearly 12 months. • Final Thoughts Kuro Games needs to address this. At this point, we can't keep blaming players, their hardware, or the engine. If the high internal resolution is the cause, it should be adjusted. Two videos give state of art of XR at #ces2026. This is my ninth and 10th video report from CES. Both were in suites, which means the public couldn't get into see them. The first is of VITURE, which had the best middle-weight AI glasses. The second is of Lumus, which makes the glass in the displays of the Meta Rayban Displays (the industry calls them waveguides). It showed me the first that I've seen that have 70 degree field of view. Meta's current glasses have waveguides that can only do about 20 degree field of view. The difference in size of the virtual image you see in front of you is like going from an iPhone to a 100-inch TV on your wall. The Viture, along with competitors, RayNeo, Rokid Global, XREAL 👓, among others, use a hybrid waveguide and bird bath optic. The bird bath has a much thicker optic in front of your eyes. If you actually want to play a video game, or work while say on a flight, the middle weights are the ones you want. The virtual image is like seeing a movie in a movie theater. The problems with the bird bath optics are they aren't good to wear in the real world, like while walking around a shopping mall, and need to be plugged into a phone or a laptop to save weight and have enough processing power to put a movie up in front of you. That takes us to lightweights. I saw many, and Lumus' 70-degree field of view waveguide will be in lightweights in 2028. And I assume there are competitors that we'll probably see at SPIE (optics show in San Francisco) in a few months. Many of the lightweights, like Even Realities, have small green and black displays. I have them and they are quite nice, but I want full color displays for obvious reasons. Apple bought a waveguide company years ago, so I assume it is working on some in secret, plus its partner, ZEISS Group, showed off waveguides years ago at CES, and since that's the biggest optics company in the world, it is an easy assumption to say that Zeiss is working on the displays that Apple will use. Elsewhere in the suites, Goertek_USA was showing off a new "heavyweight" with 4k displays, think of an Apple Vision Pro. Except it was only about 100 grams. Reference design, so not in real products yet. But all this points to that every year from now on we'll see a lot more displays on people's faces. At XReal they told me their Holodeck glasses are coming later this year.
