I have seen this one many times, and always I have shed tears, of honor, of love, of sadness. This man stood the watch through all of life's hurts, joys, hopes, and demands. As his son has relieved him it is still bittersweet for both father and son. As much as the father definitely deserves to be relieved it is bittersweet to know how his heart was held for us. People who have no respect for what he has done. Along with those who respect that they have done what I have not. Stood the watch. God bless this man and may his life upon his retirement be the best that ever can be.
