Oh man, these suck so much. I always always always do audio tests before I start. The amount of work Ive lost is nuts because of it.

Ahh, no! My audio recording device (Zoom F6) has an LED screen with visualisation of the sound. It's good to have a little pre-tutorial recording checklist to avoid stuff like this.

That's why I always record twice: First one is a 5 second test Second one is the real recording.

Happened to me too. Now I ALWAYS check the audio meter before recording 🙄

Made a 20 minute video about my journey with blender and noticed no sound in video I was what it is really something you can't blame on others or yourself just these things happen

Before any video recording do a test short video record. Mic switch button could be handy but yeah...

Yeah, it hurts a lot, I do videos for time lapse. One day, I spent around 1 hour recording to find out it was recorded on a different app and not a blender.

Oh man... I was afraid of the same thing when i recorded videos, so i ended up checking multiple times in OBS to see if my voice was on. But i get, it hurts. 😥

Pro Tip use 2 monitors and bring recordings sound wave so You can see if mic is recorded .
