@HaroldPerrineau Did Sophia remember the talismans from the basement of Colony House, the one that Marielle dropped on the floor at the clinic and in the cave??? I think the boy in white will help them get those talismans, maybe not before Sophia/MIY kills a few more townsfolk 😢

So when Boyd found the talisman in the tree it’s because they were thrown by the MIY in the last cycled. Assuming he won the round in the previous cycle. So when Boyd found them it was a relief because it gets you thinking how many cycle has passed without the talisman?

I think they’ll go right where they belong in the story. The Faraway Trees take people to places connected to the story, so I don’t think Sophia got rid of them. If anything, we might finally find out where they came from and what they were originally created for.

Times, people, monsters are stuck in infinity loop between past and present all connected by trees..it need some one to broke that loop and save all people

I think there is a clear good/evil dichotomy between these - whichever higher power created them may be neutral. It's up to humanity to break the cycle.
