This one is particularly poignant because it is using an #AI film to point up the emptiness of lives (particularly of the young) when surrounded by #AI material. 2/

Want to show you 2 more #AI film shorts. The reason I want to show you these is because they are good enough to give you the feel of where this is going. And 3 months from now it will be exponentially better. @WGAEast @WGAWest #DGA @sagaftra @IATSE @Teamsters #1u 1/

The second one reminds me of Kristen Stewart’s innovative film short, COME SWIM, Iñárritu’s BARDO, and @RealGDT’s TGE SHAPE OF WATER. This short is from back in 5/23, if you’re tracking how fast #AI is improving. 3/fin

What I find sadly interesting is how each character(?) is clearly devoid of a soul and keenly aware of it.

THAT was the very definition of uncanny valley creepy!!😳 No one talks. The eyes and expressions are dead. Soulless. People, objects, and environments are just off enough that there's this ever increasing feeling of unease, revulsion, and dread. They're digital zombies.

Thank you for all your efforts to educate the masses on this subject that many are still trying to wrap their heads around.

@isag22 This whole AI thing reminds me of when American manufacturers (clothing, say) decided to offshore most/all of their production, thinking it'd boost their profits margins. Instead, quality eroded & consumers abandoned them. This is a near-pathological level of shortsightedness.

Wow
