This one line of CSS killed my Safari performance.

Super handy! After having a look at it seems that changing background-color on Webkit does trigger a reflow, where it doesn't in the other browser 🤯 (this data may be out of date though)

Dude I crashed Safari so many times. Its literally the most bugfilled browser. Try running a few thousand input buttons, Safari Down. Other browsers No change. Background attachment fixed with drop shadow on same element. Safari throttled 100% cpu. It’s just trash.

Good stuff 👍

Was it only on mobile? I've been making a site with transitions on everything between light and dark. I hadn't tested in Safari, but I'm not seeing any issues atm. I've been having a similar issue with svg animations in Safari on The hero glitches.

Lmao 🤣 5 mins to find out he thought css was messing up his way of displaying containers folks. Been a while Ty, no you need to have containersvisually hidden without style display block and none per container. Even if it fixed it for you it wasn’t the css. Maybe if not vanilla.
