Um, it was pretty much one of the only countries I've ever been to really outside of the UK. It was the first country as a band. You don't have to cheer for me. I do appreciate it though. It was the first time as a band that, you know, it felt like maybe might have a few fans outside of the UK and I remember that being really, really excited. And I think we were here for about four or five weeks. We actually recorded What Makes You Beautiful. I know you like it but shit song. It's crazy to go back and watch older TV shows and how great they are compared to now. I loved the show WINGS. It was hilarious and the cast was great. This was one of the funniest scenes in the series. It's sad things aren't this good anymore.

Obviously there was Lewis on the inside, which I don't think he expected that Max was on the outside of me. And so there was a little bit of contact and then I went on the dirty side of the track, no grip at all. And I couldn't really stay there as the angle with Lewis was just impossible to make a corner. Obviously the home crowd was rooting for Scottie, he's the best player in the world, we're in the United States of America, that goes, that's just kind of how it goes. But I thought it was super exciting. The crowds were super respectful and it just really motivated me to play better. Obviously with some Norwegian jerseys out there it brought the vibes, and I think the American crowds thought it was cool as well. I thought it made the event a lot more enjoyable, I think. So, yeah, it was just a blast to play at a great golf tournament, a great golf course, in front of great fans. And, yeah, it was an absolute blast."

VICTORY starring Sylvester Stallone premiered on this day in 1981. I didn’t see it in the theater but I saw it soon thereafter on an RCA VideoDisc player - not a laser disc as those came later. Who else was a fan of this film growing up? Did anyone watch it on an RCA VideoDisc player? To me at that young age, this movie was pure magic. The cast, the music, the direction, the story, I loved it all. Might have to watch it tonight.

matthew's thoughts about zb1's last concert as 9... 🦊 how was it during makcon (encore con d3)? it was fascinating really... i... on the 2nd day it felt like everything hit me at once, like "wah... this is really the last concert" so i was really sad on the 2nd day and on the last day i was sad but it was kinda... i looked at this (view on stage/overall surroundings?) for the last time and just took in the beauty of it. i was so thankful and i think i kinda just looked at it prettily “one last time”

[(fan: don't cry) 🍒 : it's not to that extent! ㅎㅎ] that letter made me feel so good. i'm really grateful, from the bottom of my heart. it made me think of the many worries i had and the effort i put in while working on this album..it felt like i was being rewarded for all that.. so i was really moved and i really appreciate it. when i was having a dilemma about the title track, jongin said: "hyung, go with something cool", that was also such a great feedback!"
