Truly disturbed me seeing that Fox clip this morning. Making it illegal to teach the real history is the definition of fascism.

America was built off the backs of slaves on stolen land. It is what it is. If you didn’t take part in owning slaves, eliminating the indigenous population, and you believe those things were bad, then why try to rewrite history. You rewrite history when your actions in the present would mimic the atrocities of the past.

That’s Fascism and Communism. One person over the entire Federal Education department making all the decision from funding to dispersal of resources to qualifications is literally how Communism works. In plain sight he just told you. And that’s the guy folks voting for. SMH

Slow down.... Slow down.... He was asked what if a district decided they were going to throw out one history and replace it with another... He said they would not get money... You are misunderstanding the segment. The example used was history, but lets say it's math instead.. The question could have been "what if this city decides they want to teach math differently or a different type of math?" The answer would still be they won't receive any money. The fear many have with school choice and disbanding the DOE is that different areas will all start teaching kids different things, which would obviously not be a great thing. What this segment is doing is saying that if this school or that school decides they want to make up a new history or new math to teach then they will not get funding to support that... You're interpretation is incorrect
