This owner suddenly got attacked by his cat 😬

Some years back I had a cat. Very docile girl. Very nice girl. One day she turned vi/lent on a snap just like this. She was lying in the hall and out of nowhere she was trying to ki// me. Screeching like a demon. It was so bad, I had to hide in the other room and eventually lock her in another one so I could get out. I figured leave her to calm. She did not. Even the next day, maybe 10 hours isolation and when she saw me again, she resumed this frantic bl//dlust. I took her to the vet the next day, after a big fight in which she shiibeverywhere. The vet said the only time they've seen such a drastic and immediate change is with a brain tumor. I'm in UK. We don't have rabies here, which would be the only other explanation. My little friend had to be put down and for a long time I felt like I had ki//ed her, but I knew she was gone already. There was no personality left, just instinct for violence , even to me for whom she was very needy and a/tached. This looks like that. It looks like the switch was flipped. The smell was the trigger but that kind of visceral obsession isn't a normal response.
