Speaking of the economy, it's estimated that violence against women & children costs Australia at least $26 BILLION each year. On that statistic alone, neither the feds nor the states are spending anywhere near enough to mitigate it.

It is simply not the case that nothing is being done but reducing the incidence of violence could be generational, it is not something where short term changes will end it.

Could the silence from the politicians be due to the ethnicity of the perpetrators, and the mass migration policies of the politicians?

Agree we need a much harder stance on any violence in our communities. Men or women being violent can not be accepted. Deport or even bring back capital punishment for scum that do crime like has happened to the woman and 8 yr old. I’ll volunteer to pull the trigger.
