I see everyone joking about how Peter can afford this advanced phone now that he's broke. I raise you that this is not Peter's main phone but Spider-Man's. Spider-Man is saving the day. Spider-Man just got the key to the city. I have no trouble believing they gave "Spider-Man" a free phone. But Peter doesn't have any of those benefits. This movie might hit deeper than we think. 😶

Spider-Man has technically been responsible for someone’s death in the MCU. Peter never intentionally kills his enemies, but in Avengers: Endgame, he webbed Cull Obsidian from behind while Iron Man was being overwhelmed. Ant-Man then rushed in and crushed Cull. Peter didn’t kill him directly, but Spider-Man’s actions became a direct reason Cull Obsidian was killed.

This is why I love Spider-Man 2 The film takes the time to show the small things. 18 seconds at a laundromat and you’re already more attached to Peter Parker than most superhero films manage in two hours. You relate to him because you’ve lived the same struggles. Not the villains. Not the powers. Just a guy trying to keep his life together. In an industry obsessed with making everything bigger and more spectacular at the cost of rushing everything else, films like Spider-Man 2 simply can’t exist anymore. Spider-Man 2 is untouchable.
