I refused to buy my own car until we bought one for my dad. For 10 years, he drove the same red Mercedes. Toward the end it smoked when he started it. Sometimes it broke down on the way to church. One day my mum mentioned it casually on the phone. That conversation stayed with me. So my siblings and I decided to surprise him. This was his reaction.

Let me also expose Sixo. I drove and sang with Sixo in the car when nobody was around. You see that bandage on her face, I put it on. Even the phone she is using, I bought it for her. It was me. All of it was me and nobody else. Me, me, me, me.

“I drove out of my estate one day. I saw a little 9-year-old who told me he was hungry. Because of the hate Nigerians have for me, I thought it was a setup, so I didn’t put him in my car. Instead, I told him to walk in front while I drove behind him. Imagine if I had put him in my car and he fainted; they would have arrested me. So I got him food and gave him ₦200,000. Five days later, the estate called and told me the boy’s parents were unhappy that I recorded their son, whereas the boy had told me he was living with his aunt. Imagine if I had put him in my car; it would have been another story. I know they planted the boy in my estate to set me up.” — Peller narrates why he believes a 9-year-old boy was allegedly used in an attempt to set him up.

#WATCH | Delhi: On her resignation from the Congress party, Radhika Khera says "On 30th April, when I went to talk to media chairman of Chhattisgarh Congress- Sushil Anand Shukha, but he started misbehaving with me and abusing me. I screamed a lot. I also shouted and told people to go down and call the General Secretary but no one moved. Then when I took out my phone and said that I am recording you, Sushil Anand Shukla made a gesture and 2 more people in that room closed the door from inside. The room remained locked for about a minute and I was abused. All three men got up and came towards me. I kept screaming but no one tried to open the door...I pushed the door very hard and opened it and went to the room of the State General Secretary but he kept sitting with his shoes off. No one stood up, no one called that man, no one asked what happened?..."

Need a last minute holiday gift for your cat? I bet they’d enjoy some dried pasta! Storytime: The best part about this video was when I went to the supermarket to purchase the pasta. I was looking for a specific size and an employee was restocking the shelves. He asked if I needed something in particular and I said I needed to find the right shape. He gave me a box and said “these are the best ones”. I told him, “Oh no no, I don’t intend to eat them. This shape’s just for my cats to play with”. He laughed and said it was the first time he heard anyone say that. 😹 #giftidea #giftsforcats #theoreocat

Snoop Dogg shares the unbelievable story of how Dr. Dre discovered him. “One day, Warren G was at a bachelor party for one of Dre’s homeboys. The music cut off, so he threw my tape in, and the whole party started rocking Dre asked, ‘Who that?’, Warren G said, ‘That’s my homie Snoop I was telling you about.” “Not long after, Dre called me but I thought somebody was playing on my phone. I said, ‘Man, this ain’t no motherfucking Dr. Dre,’ and hung up.” “He called right back, warren G said, ‘Snoop, cuz, I got Dre on the phone, I picked up, and Dre said, ‘I like that mixtape. What you doing Thursday? Come by the studio.” “So me, Warren G, and my homeboy Rump drove over there, I was nervous because I had no idea what to expect.” “Dre put on James Brown’s “The Big Payback” and said, ‘Rap over this, So I did.” “When I finished, he didn’t ask for another take. I asked, ‘Did I do it right? He said, ‘Yeah… that shit cool.’” “Looking back, that was my audition. Dre was seeing if I was really built for it, that was my one shot.”

Just now, a veteran Chinese forum member, Youlong, tweeted that his #PiNetwork account had been banned. I told him it was impossible for it to be banned, and I was even going to go back and try logging in for him using my other phone. Then he called me on WeChat, saying that it turned out the phone number was wrong from the start because someone had threatened him a few days ago, saying they could ban his account. It was a complete misunderstanding! 😂

On the 13th of Sept, someone transferred 180k for an iPhone Xs 256GB. After acknowledging his receipt, he called, and I told him we don't have it but will ask colleagues and let him know. I asked my friend, and he told me 190k. I begged him to leave it at 180k because that is what the guy deposited (check frame 2 for reference). When he sent the phone from Kano to Jos, then I noticed it was an Xs Max. Seeing that the guy was in a hurry and didn't want to disappoint, I called him and told him what happened and said if he wants the Max, he can take it at no additional cost. I was willing to settle the difference because it was his first time buying from us. I packaged it with a new premium charger because all our used phones are sent packaged in our branded box with a charger, and I sent it to him in Abuja. He later messaged that he has received the phone and truly appreciates it. After months of not receiving any complaints from him, it clearly indicates that he has received a fully functioning phone. It is in our policy that if you find anything faulty within one week, you can return it to us and either ask for a replacement or refund. What this means is that the cost of bringing it from Kano to Jos, the packaging and charger, and the delivery to Abuja are all a loss to me. But I didn't mind because at least I have satisfied him. Nine weeks later, while I was in Kano, I saw a call from an unknown number. When I picked up, he said it was him. He told me that the camera has started giving him problems. I told him it has been months since you bought it, but you can take it to any repair store and tell me how much you spent, and I will pay. He asked if I know anyone, and I sent him someone's number. The guy didn't pick; he texted and informed me and later called me. I told him to go to anyone he trusts and let me know the amount he spent. A few days later, I was stranded between Kaduna and Abuja on my trip from Kano to Abuja because my car engine failed. He called, and I didn't pick; I don't even know his number. Later in the night, I received his messages on WhatsApp with a threat that he will make a video to tarnish the image of my business. Someone I was willing to help after months of buying a USED device from me is threatening me. I said he should go ahead because I can't entertain him anymore. In conclusion, a trade that I incurred a loss from is what some people are trying to justify as a scam. The beautiful part is I have made trades with hundreds of people here, and I would love two more people to come out and present a case in which they are still using a device I sold to them that is faulty and they contacted me for a replacement or refund, and I didn't do it instantly. "The hypocrite will always look for faults" - Ghazali. Those that are looking for a fault in me can justify something as woke as this; it doesn't matter. This is my own side and will no longer entertain him anymore. For those that believe in me without hearing from me, thank you so much.

As I walked to work this morning, I kept on singing, “You’ve been faithful Lord, from the ages past” and I didn't know when I started shedding tears. No one can tell me God doesn't exist, no one!!!!

Marimar Martinez, the Chicago woman whom a Border Patrol agent shot five times last year, says she was only at the hospital for three hours before agents rushed her out. She then was admitted to a second hospital because she was through from her bandages. "As we left the hospital, I was escorted out through the back in a wheelchair. I observed over dozens of border patrol agents waiting outside the hospital. One of them, one of the agents came up to me with his cell phone and took a photograph of me. It was the same agent who had previously kept coming in and out of my room, and I had to repeatedly tell him to leave. I told him I did not consent for him to photograph me, but he did not care. It still haunts me that this agent has my photo on his phone. Was this the agent that shot me? Was this a trophy for him?"

Next up, letter I: “Intro - A Million and One Questions / Rhyme No More” #JayZ30 #JayZ DJ Premier: “That one was totally his [Jay-Z’s] idea. He called me and said, ‘I want to do this intro to the album [In My Lifetime, Vol. 1].’ Even when we were doing ‘Reasonable Doubt,’ same thing. He would call me, and he would rap the rhyme on the phone a cappella. So, with this one, same thing. He did the whole ‘A Million and One’ verse for me over the phone with the idea, and he said, ‘I want it to connect some type of way ... and I’m gonna go motherfuckers can’t ... and when I say rhyme, I want the drop.’ He's very calculated on how he wants to do his thing ... he goes in there and cuts it. I’ve never seen him write anything on paper. I’ve been in many sessions with him and never seen him write.”
