"Humanity is hungry for truth and beauty. It's part of our nature. It was built into us by design and can never be entirely corrupted. This is one of the reasons I believe our culture will ultimately fail to condition all of us, or even most of us, to value the wrong things. Depriving a man of what he needs will only, in the end, increase his craving for it. "It's like putting a man out in the desert for long enough — of course he's going to become thirsty. "Our culture is a spiritual desert right now, but people are waking up.
