Even tho I’m not a swiftie I will admit she did have a bop or two back in the day like trouble & we are never getting back together. But I agree I could never fully get into her music because most of her songs sounded very generic. A lot of it sounded like nursery rhymes to me.

It would have been more entertaining if Taylor had leaned into that Cassie energy and written an angry song about her idiot husband getting scammed out of all of that money 😂

I am no swifty. But some of her songwriting has absolutely been great. Is she lethal with a pen? No. But she has some good work. TTPD was not good synergy between her songwriting and music. And TLOAS is cute but immature.

Someone else said this but Taylor needed to have a more adult phase because her persona is so young girl coded that everything she does now that leans into adulthood will come off cringe. Her music may not be for everyone but some songs are good.
