I won't let people rewrite history about Kobe. When LeBron and Kobe had equal teammates, Kobe stepped up and led his team to a win. LeBron shrunk, switched off Kobe, asked Prince to guard him on the last shot, then proceeded to not even hit the rim on his final shot. Kobe was being instantly doubled in a game with the best players in the world- only Kobe was getting instant doubles. Let that sink in. Mamba was one of one. That's why Coach K recruited him- Bron wasn't good enough to lead Team USA to gold. They had to go get Kobe to do that. 👊

Respectfully, LeBron going to 8 straight finals is the most overrated feat in recent sports history. The Cavaliers GM is putting boys on game letting yall know straight up that LeBron was gifted the Eastern conference and it’s the only reason he made the Finals so many years in a row. But the only thing is that he’s forgetting that LeBron also hand-picked superstar players to play with him while being in that weak Eastern conference. He actually plucked franchise players from the East like Bosh and Wade and other budding stars like Kyrie, and made sure these stars were on his team which didn’t allow for balance in an already weak eastern conference. Stars like Paul George had to go up against the Lebron/Bosh/Wade 2012, 2013, 2014 Miami Heat team and then the 2017 Cavs team with LeBron/Kyrie/Love in the playoffs 😩🤣 Derrick Rose had to go up against PEAK 2011 Superteam Heat in the 2011 playoffs. What the hell Derrick Rose gone do with Dwayne good-knees Wade/Lebron/Bosh Heatles? Cmon man. (Then he faced Cavs LeBron/Kyrie/Love in 2015 playoffs) Carmelo Anthony had to go up against peak LeBron/Wade/Bosh in the 2012 playoffs getting spanked 4-1 because well, he ain’t beating that team. It ain’t even close. Demar Derozen facing peak LeBron/Kyrie/Love in 2016 and 2017 playoffs. Cmon man. Remember when MJ ran up on Stephen A Smith for saying LeBron might be the best 20 year old he's ever seen. MJ was so mad at him for saying this he pulled up in the black SUV to let him know he has 6 rings. What does 6 rings have to do with being the better player at 20 years of age? MJ didnt have any NBA championships at 20 years od age so it's completely irrelevant to the argument. This just shows how jealous MJ was of LeBron for being considered better than him at 20 years old. LeBron was in the middle of his 3rd year in the league and MJ STILL had to mention championships like he already had 6 at that point in his career. Imagine a 42 year old MJ being this jealous of LeBron. No wonder the media had been against him for so long. It's why ESPN keeps this clown on TV just so he can badmouth LeBron every chance he gets. A lot of LeBron stans are running victory laps with a FAKE narrative that a 16 year old LeBron dominated against a 40 year old MJ This is FALSE The facts are: 1. LeBron barely got on the court after the NBA guys were tired (LeBron admits this) 2. LeBron was on Mike’s team according to Ron Artest and they never went against each other. Of course Bron doesn’t mention this he wanted to toot his own horn as he always does.. 3. This is dumb because without context everything sounds right. But the fact is that Kobe played with one of the worst rosters during possibly the strongest Western Conference of all time. The year LeBron went to the Finals in 2007, the entire All NBA 1st team and the entire All NBA 1st defensive team was represented by 10 PLAYERS ALL FROM THE WEST (Kobe being on both of them). That’s 10 players that were the cream of the crop of the league on both ends all in the freaking Western conference. Lebron coasted through the East always. From 2014 - 2018, the Eastern conference didn’t have ONE SINGLE ALL NBA 1st TEAM SELECTION (outside of LeBron James). All the best players played in the Western conference. Back to 2007, Kobe had an all time bad roster and yet he played the Suns team that boasted two All NBA 1st team players in Nash and Amari. As the Magic still punished the Cavs and beat them in 6 and would have been 5 if not a great buzzer beater from LeBron. LeBron was also a -7 for the series. But when then Magic faced Kobe they were pretty much dominated because Kobe was the scoring engine and a threat all around the court. So the Magic could not just load up on the Lakers role players because Kobe’s action was putting so much pressure on them. They had to watch Kobe when he was around his spots in the mid-range and it often led to Pau Gasol having more one on ones in the post and even slashing and getting easy hand-offs from Kobe. Kobe averaged 32PPG with 7.4 assists and was a +49 for the series. It was total domination when he was on the court. He opened up everything and his action was way too much for the Magic. There was no defense for Kobe at this time in his career.
