I’ll never forget how insane the invasion was when it premiered. Like the lair being discovered genuinely blew my mind!!

As cool as this twist was I was really sad about it because I really liked Erma. I wish April had another human friend besides Casey in the series.

I just realized, EVEN SPLINTER IS SHOCKED

I completely forgot Gilbert Gottfried was in this show and I got jumpscared by his fucking laugh

Irma suddenly turning into a Gilbert Godfrey voiced Kraang Sub-Prime was not on my bingo card that day I tells ya.

April had it rough her dad got mutated twice her best friend was a kraang and her mother was some sort of mutant clone or whatever the fuck was that thing poor girl 😭

She legit couldn’t catch a single break 😭

Her own best friend from the surface was a Kraang in disguise. That’s traumatizing

I remember the ghost episode kinda hinted at this twist

The funniest thing about this is that Krang Sub-Prime is voice by the legendary Gilbert Gotfried.

Absolutely amazing casting too!! He fits the character sm!!!

Definitely. I couldn't have ask for anyone better!

I remember this plot point always pissed me off because I thought April had finally found a human friend, a pretty cool one at that, and they just turned it into a villain plotline. Cool Gilbert Godfrey was involved though.

They should’ve shown the real Irma being rescued; I wanted her to stick around so bad 😭

If you rewatch the second season there are some little clues/foreshadowing asking April about her secret friends hell April asked her why isn’t she wearing a coat in the snow and she says she hardly ever notices the cold

I fuckin’ love Kraang Subprime, man. I miss Gilbert Gottfried so much.

Now the one thing that pisses me off, IS THIS BITCH APRIL!!!

everyone was dying for Irma to finally meet the turtles in season 2. And then they threw this at us. Lets be honest there were definitely hints, but was anyone expecting THIS!!

I Just noticed you can hear the robotic blink when she first sees the turtles

Kinda wish she joined forces with them even if she was a Kraang

I loved the reveal but was sad because Irma got shafted

Such a good plot twist man, i knew they were going to do something with Irma but THIS!?!?!? This was an entirely different route and i loved it

Yeah, not too thrilled with how Irma was handled in the show

she was so likeable ugh why did she have to be a kraang spy 🥲

This was probably the best plot twist in the series cuz how could anyone suspect that? Well this and the backstab shredder did

Damn this was such a great plot twist, never saw it coming or the scale of the invasion ending of the season.

I was shocked and sad and disappointed. I liked her.

Ok so I wasnt the only one screaming when that plot twist happened, yes I didn't scream out loud since my mom would have smacked me but still lol

I admit I haven't watched TMNT 2012 in years, but I have to say, a bit like "Ducktales" 2017 or SDMI, this feels like one of those "Let's be more mature" changes. It's as bizarre as when I found out that Rahzar & Tokka's duo would have featured one of them as an alien kaiju.

I remember being so disappointed, I love the original Irma from the 80s

I still remember the shock I had when I first saw this , it was simply mental

And this was when many abandoned this version. Even some of the writers expressed regret at this plot twist.

I’ve only ever seen positive reception for this reveal from fans of the show.

Definitely seen this before

Irma never was real in TMNT (2012)? She was a wasted character here.

I have a feeling that the writers never cared for the original 87 cartoon Irma.

Really funny that it was the first ep I saw on TV when it first aired and was confused on what is going on

Did Irma dirty
