This is roughly my rank atm and yes I built Scizor to directly counter Archaludon / Rotom wash / Swamperts lol

@DevinTHuman XD All three I see! Does he also have CC? I assume it has BP for priority and fairies and SwDance or Protect... I always tell people Scizor is incredibly slept on as offensive and supportive mon in this format. Regular or Mega.

mhm I love this build, he has trick room and sinistcha support, so he can usually get a swords dance off while they protect to stall out trick room And fr Scizor is slept on! Unironically Scizor > Kingambit right now

@DevinTHuman Quite solid. One SwDance CC is enough to OHKO Archaludon full Def+HP invested. Trailblaze 2KO's a Full Defensive built Rotom wash, OHKO's after a SwDance. We already saw it OHKO Swampert. This is with no Mega as well...

Tbh I have a basic spread for now until I figure out a few key matchups to build around. As far as teammates Tyranitar is great vs Zardys. Farigiraf with stab / thunder (or bolt) / rain dance / trick room is also a great teammate. Sylveon as well as a TR special attacker teammate to Scizor Incineroar is also a good teammate bc of constant intimidates and fake outs and pivots

@DevinTHuman My favorite thing to do is counter trauma this. I have swampert and archaludon on my team, but then I don't bring either as they heavy focus on fighting and grass.

I gotchuuuu This is roughly the team, except Farigiraf has Roar instead of Nasty plot to counter minimizers / stat boosters and Venusaur is a life orb max spatt / hp Sinistcha now (with matcha shadow ball trick room and protect) and Scizor has trailblaze instead of Bug Bite rn

@RetrnoftheMatt he megas, so his ability is usually thick fat Chlorophyll is for situations vs sun, the other ability is overgrow and is garbo

Sinistcha has it but I missed one matcha gotcha on a swampert and swore vengeance

@DevinTHuman I want to build a mega scizor really bad but i dont want to run TR on my team, i wonder if it would work regardless? My team is: Annihilape, Maushold, Mega Delphox, Milotic, Whimsicott, Mega Metagross (who would be replaced by scizor)

Mhm just figure out which mons Scizor needs to outspeed and get his speed in tailwind right above them. In that team I imagine bullet punch / u turn (or bug bite or tbh Trailblaze lol) / close combat / protect would be solid. Instead of Annihilape maybe mega scrafty? I notice you don't have intimidate. Just an idea, Scizor u turn is great utility into an intimidater
