Stephanie said that the Fever lost the game yesterday due to turnovers. This comment immediately threw Caitlin under the bus, and her performance warranted that type... of accountability. 2. They asked Stephanie about her star players being in foul trouble every game now. Stephanie told reporters that this was due to the new “freedom of movement” rules that were implemented prior to the 2026 season. ————————————————— The freedom of movement rules were implemented as a direct result of Caitlin Clark crying to the WNBA’s front office. During the off-season, Caitlin praised the WNBA for these new rule changes. She now has 5 fouls in every game. Caitlin pushed for these new rules thinking that they would benefit her OFFENSIVELY……and they have, which is why she is scoring at a much higher clip.
