After Round 0 finished, we learned a lot and used those lessons to improve 𝒞𝑜𝓈𝓂𝒾𝒸 𝒮𝒾𝑔𝓃𝒶𝓉𝓊𝓇𝑒🦇🔊. The biggest upgrade is around CST rewards. In the Round 0 contracts, every bid earned the same CST reward, no matter how quickly it was placed. That meant someone could potentially use a bot to place many bids extremely fast and collect more CST than intended. In the upgraded game contracts, CST rewards now depend on how much time has passed since the last bid. If a bid comes in immediately after another bid, it earns little or no CST. If more time has passed, the reward can be higher. This better rewards meaningful participation instead of raw speed. We also improved how CST bidding stays balanced. ETH bids now slightly make future CST bids more attractive, while CST bids slightly adjust the system back the other way. This helps keep both bidding options healthier over time. A few other fairness improvements were added too: late bids no longer reset the round clock in a way that could be abused, the last bidder now gets 2 days instead of 1 day to claim the main prize, and rare edge cases around prize claiming were hardened. Round 0 helped us make the game stronger, fairer, and more sustainable for everyone. Round 1 starts on Tuesday, 8pm ET! (The NFT displayed below is NFT #8 FWIW)
