Men like Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Otedola etc. can secure huge loans from multi national bodies of different countries without any collateral and at a reduce interest rate just because they are able to present an LOC from the Nigerian government but you want them to go against the government. I’ll tell you this for free. If another administration finds its way to the Aso Villa, they will shake hands and work with that administration. These are men who have everything to lose. As a businessman with huge assets & investments if you put your brains aside and work with emotions you are just a fool. Nigeria don't have leadership problem at all but POOR SOCIETAL VALUES. The political class understood this, and they exploit it. Unfortunately, religious, traditional systems that supposed to help to install these values focus on other irrelevant issues.

It's not possible to have the kind of money these people make without having government ties - just impossible. There's no billionaire in Nigeria today who doesn't have one government connexion or the other even if he's just a tailor or supplying stationery.
