Sysco doesn’t make the products, other companies do and then they are put into Sysco boxes. For example, block and barrel which is a Sysco branded item, is all Smithfield, and every distributor, including grocery stores, carries these items, US foods puts in Monogram boxes, PFG into Roma, and so on. Now a big thing is the frozen foods side of it, sure Sysco has a lot of frozen foods that technically every restaurant can use, but your good restaurants aren’t using those items, besides fries

Today in things that'll make your blood boil: Two grown biker bros were caught by a restaurant owner vandalizing his outdoor dining space. When he told them how much it cost him and what the fines would be, they mock him and walk away. They laughed as he threatened to call the police, knowing that there is virtually nothing the NYPD could do in the current environment, short of giving them a small fine. Meanwhile, the owner could be fined $25,000 for not cleaning their vandalism. Why would anyone want to bother opening a business under these conditions?
