The Prophet (pbuh) said about hardships...

This ADHD hack changed my life...

But still, always ask Allah for ease. Prophet Dawud (a.s.) once prayed for a test, and he faced countless trials as a result. So, always seek ease and well-being.😉

There's two miracles in Islam. 1) No one being able to make a Surah like the Quran. 2) Lily Jay's ability to be perpetually shocked by Dawah scripts from 2008 that everyone has already heard.

Tough times reminds you of God and the afterlife but easy times can cause you to forget .. God tests those he loves the most with the most hardships to test their faith and how much they’re willing to be patient like we seen with Moses & Ayuub and Abraham peace be upon them

They did NOT pray for hardships, but when challenges arose, they accepted and conquered those challenges. There is a difference.

Salam Aleïkoum Sister Lily, no it's not true , authentic gadiths orders us not to ask for hardships but easiness and safety but steadfast in hard times. You can verify that by yourself. Greetings.

Lily, there’s also this -> The Prophet ﷺ saw Khabbab ibn al-Aratt (RA) in hardship and said: “Don’t ask Allah for trials—ask Him for well-being.” A reminder to pray for ease, not suffering.

Lily, you misunderstood this, so be careful. Never pray for hardships! You are testing Allah, and never test your Lord! Pray for an easy life, and guidance. The Hadiths mean that the companions felt nervous that too much comfort may have mean they are far from Allah.

true.
