自分も六本脚ロボットで歩行距離を計測しました。1回の動作で約20cm進み、平均速度は0.05m/sでしたが、ボール形態での移動速度は4倍速くなりました。

This is the Scorpion Hexapod, a six-legged robotic scorpion created at Ghent University UGent Campus Kortrijk in Belgium. It was built by students Stephan Flamand Robbe Terryn and Pieterjan Deconinck as part of an Embedded Prototyping / Mechatronics Design project.
