I've watched Slime S1–2. It's good, but MT's worldbuilding goes far beyond pretty scenery. Its ancient history, gods, conflicts and mysteries are deeply connected to the story. A single mural tells you more about MT's past than your bird scene does about Slime's world.

I haven't mentioned anything about the cryptid race, the tenma war , the meliinia game between guy and Rudra , veldanava, feldway, the mystics, the primodial demons, the seraphim, true dragons , true heros, demon lords, other worlds and realms MT doesn't have better lore lmao

If you think Tensua has better worldbuilding idk what to say. I absolutly LOVE Tensura and it isnt close. MT has some of the best worldbuiling in all of Animanga.

They also have different types of worldbuilding as well so its hard to compare. The quality and depth they go with it in MT though just outclasses any isekai and pretty much every anime Ive ever seen besides like OP. Imo of course.

All of this + so much more. 6 entire languages being actually made up and used in the series constantly. The Thousands of years history that shaped their world. 6 entire worlds across the universe combined. Real complex cultural differences. I could go on.

This is only season 1. The anime has only covered around half of the series and even this much is more than slime. Not on scale but on quality and complexity. This is a masterclass in worldbuilding for all of the things I said above the video as well.

We haven't been introduced to 5% of the lore of the cardinal world yet The cryptid race in tensura which isn't even top 3 races when it comes to the lore has better lore than all of MT and I am not even exaggerating

I’m tired of people comparing these shows, I like both. Tensura however lacks enjoyment when all the characters on rimurus side just get revived every time they die. Hopefully that changes in the future. Also so far I don’t think Tensura has better world building.

Mushoku Tensei has its own Demon tongue language and writing, even has its own Human language and writing. That doesn't include Beast tongue, Fighting God tongue which used in Begaritt continent, and other worlds tongue.

I can't agree to that considering there really isn't a variety in languages among the races, plus most of the places in the human territories so far more or less look the same. Then there's the currency looking the same everywhere we go or have been exposed to. Subject to change
