I really don’t blame Roger, he really hit the jackpot

I really don’t understand why this is controversial. It’s a caricature. Jessica Rabbit was obviously never meant to be a realistic portrayal of a woman anymore than Jorgen von Strangle is meant to be an accurate representation of a man.

I know the "Only You can prevent forest fires" line is a reference to Smokey but I wonder if that may have been a nod towards the old PSA with Joanna Cassidy. For those who forgot she was the actress who played Dolores in the film:

Why? This nice forest ranger was simply warning Roger about forest fires

Disney probably didn't like Jessica being way too much sexualized, while Ariel, Jasmine, Meg, Esmeralda and Jane Porter were also sexualized. Anyone can disagree with me cause I'm just saying this from POV
