Mark Ruffalo is the best Hulk of all time. No one’s ever played the role better. This is Ruffalo’s area of expertise. But as much as I love Ruffalo as Hulk, including in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, I can’t help but wonder if Ruffalo has better things to do with his time at this point of his career. This is an actor who can literally do anything. Why keep returning to the MCU? I think it’s just time for both parties to move on.
