I think there are a handful of meaningful similarities between Arrival & Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I personally prefer Arrival, this deserved the Oscar for Best Picture & I think it’s one of the best science fiction films in Cinema history. I still can’t believe we’re getting a new Denis Villeneuve film this year.
