What made this scene more powerful is that the young kid Sheldon is a science boy who doesn’t believe in God and has zero emotional intelligence due to him being on the spectrum but brings himself to acknowledge that there might be something above maths and science that could explain why the world is positioned how it is and out of anyone who could deal with his lack of EQ it was his mom..

I read something similar recently too. What are the odds really.

He was just making arguments in favour of his mum’s beliefs in a Creator to make her feel good. It was one of the few times in his life where he understood emotions and was sensitive. He could easily destroy those arguments. His mum knows that. She appreciates that.

I've not seen the series/movie but I'm getting them now to see. The guy is too brilliant
