That’s the unforgettable desert escape from Sahara (2005), starring Matthew McConaughey and Steve Zahn. The line, “We’re home free now… but I don’t think we can fix this thing,” is an all-time classic. Peak action-adventure energy. 🎬🔥

Movie title: Sahara (2005) Overview: An explorer goes in search of a lost Civil War battleship known as the Ship of Death in the deserts of West Africa while helping a WHO doctor in her search for the source of a wide-spreading plague.

Steve Zahn’s face when that plane starts falling apart is pure cinema 😂 Still one of the most underrated comedy-action scenes ever. Sahara never got the respect it deserved.”

I had a good watch

Before this scene

You don’t say😳

This movie was so fun. There is a ton of potential for more Dirk Pitt movies. I'd love to see either Pacific Vortex or Raise the Titanic put to movie screen

That’s a lot of budget

The internet has taught me that being early in the comments is a skill, but being early and funny is basically a superpower.

Hmmm

How is that even possible is the driver sleeping

Possibly

My dad recommended this book to me in highschool. I fell in love with the author and his others novels with Dirk Pitt.

Now this is epic

Need more Clive cussler books turned into movies! Hollywood is so boring!

Sincerely; I thought I was the only one thinking so

No. This didn't do Clive Cussler or Dirk Pitt any sort of anything. Its was commercialized pff. Sure, fun for popcorn, thats it. If i recall...actors said so as well.

😳

Funny 😂

Their survival instinct is 1000 percent 😂

It comes to live immediately

Perjuangan banget

I can re watch it all day

You’d enjoy it

This scene never gets old

Would a gold coin really be able to do this though? I guess if it was really loose already, but otherwise I feel like the coin would get all janked up and be unable to remove the screw

Your line of thoughts is incredible

This certainly has my curiosity piqued 😅

You should see it

2005 action-adventure film Sahara, hailing the desert escape scene as "forever GOATed" for its blend of high-stakes action and slapstick comedy.... good movie

I enjoy watching this scene always,m

Probably only if the screw was already loose 😅

I think it did

Steve Zahn’s face when that plane starts falling apart is pure comedy gold.

I laughed so hard

Nice scene

Forever indeed

I Imagined Tate Brothers 💔

Any movie with Mathew McConaughey is really impressive full of creativity

One of my favorite scenes

I can bet it is

Seriously 😳 I haven’t watched the movie

You should; it’s really good

Nice

Loved the movie and all of Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt novels.

"The tension in this entire sequence was unmatched."

You forgot The endless weapons drop: When Al is confronted and ordered to drop his weapons (by Tuareg fighters), he keeps pulling out an absurd, continuous stream of guns, knives, and other gear for an extended, escalating comedic beat. Fans frequently call this one of the movie’s highlights for Zahn’s deadpan timing. 😂😂

Steve Zahn’s face as the whole thing falls apart is pure cinema. Sahara never got the respect this scene deserved
